Sometimes laws are blatantly diffs: add this section, strike this word, etc. But they're typically given as bare PDFs or text files: you have to look up all the referenced laws one by one to understand anything. Or you can use Bill Companion, which uses a horrendous number of regular expressions to find the referenced law, and the sub-sub-sub-sub-section of the referenced law.
There's a classic statistical problem, sometimes called the Mohammed Li problem. While Mohammed Li has both the most common first name and the most common surname globally, his name is actually very unusual. The widget below generates ten Americans, using census and Social Security Administration data to try and ensure that the names are plausible by year (you shouldn't get a very old Jayden) and ethnicity-matching (so you get more young Hispanic Americans). Names come from the Census (for surnames) and Tzoumis 2018 (when possible), falling back on NYC data when it needs to.
Too many people I know say that they don't have the time to read fiction. For them, and myself, I made this spreadsheet. It aims to be a broad introduction to fiction, of the sort that you might get in an undergraduate English class survey. It's weighted somewhat towards American authors and science fiction, because of my own biases. I am always taking recommendations.
I strongly recommend thinking about making something like this for an area you know well. It's produced many fascinating conversations and recommendations. People have opinions about my choices, talk about their favorites, and tell me how happy they are that they read something new and good.
